Yes it has finally come time again to plan for my little one’s birthday. Her actual birthday is next week but I have had a pretty full schedule lately so we will be having the party this year on the 20th. And here it is:

Yep thats what she wanted. A dance party. At first I was not so sure about this idea but now I have full embraced it and have decided to do something in the field of Pretty In Pink (the movie) meets Solid Gold Dancers. I think it just might work. I created her an invite with the help of Bekka from Babycakes (whom I adore!). Bekka created me a custom silhouette of Lauren (yes that is actually her!) dancing and then I thought it would be fun to have cascading solid gold records all over. I created a invite wrap to go around the actual invite so when you pull it out of the envelop you still have something else to open!

On the outside I am such a fan of address wraps so I designed this one to coordinate with the pattern of the invite too. I have been so inspired by all these ombre pink pictures I have been seeing on Pinterest and other blogs that I am going to go with it! Here is my inspiration board so far.
