{Party Inspiration} Pretty As A Peacock

I have been doing LOTS of Peacock parties lately!! I love these colors together- purple, teal, and lime green. If you remember back a little while, I designed this invitation and we have also featured a darling peacock party for little Jack. I love that this them can be for a girl or a boy. I have had a few people ask me for ideas on decorating their peacock parties. So of course I hopped over to Pinterest and started a board. Here are some of my favorite ideas.

Master Bedroom Inspiration

I have been given the go ahead to get new bedding in our bedroom. YIPPEE!! The one we currently have is a ticking stripe from Pottery Barn and is destroyed from living with animals. God love them but nothing is sacred with them around. So these are a few ideas (via Pinterest of course!) of what I want to do with the room. The walls are currently a grey blue and I am not so sure I want to changes that. I actually really love that color and find it very soothing. I like the idea of doing some grey, white, black scheme and popping a color like orange, or yellow.

Here are a few of my favorites.

What I love about this room? The headboard- just gorgeous. But I also love those pillows. I am chevron obsessed like the rest of the world right now and just worried it my go out of style by the time I finish the room.

The greek key pattern is one of my most favorites. It is timeless and classic. I actually love it in the orange which you can see HERE. And that headboard! So showing you all upholstered headboards and at this time that is not an option for me. We have a wood sleigh bed that is a permanent fixture. . . at least for now.

I love how cozy this room feels. I just want to climb into this bed. I have been seeing this pin tuck effect in bedding a lot more lately and love it.

I think this is my favorite bedding so far. Just worried it might be too busy for me. Remember I am a neutral girl when it comes to big pieces in our home (our bed is a Cal-King in a very small room) This might be too overwhelming for now. I will have to let you know what I pick but with winter coming I definitely want to be all cozy in my bed!

{Our Home} Lauren’s Big Girl Room-Inspiration Board

I just realized I have not shared this with you and I am almost done!! I am just putting the finishing touches on Lauren’s room- trim on the drapes, painting a feature wall,  a few more pillows (I have an obsession with these!), and waiting for her headboard to arrive. But this is where I started:

I am SO excited to see this finished. She is already loving it and it is so bright and fun. The big reveal will be sooner than later- promise!!

Pinning- Gift Wrap Ideas

We are getting ready to leave on Thursday morning for a wedding in Hawaii and then when we come back a week and a half later we have 2 more weddings in the same weekend. So last night as I was finishing proofs/orders/and packing (and feeling a little burned out for a moment), I decided to pin quickly how to wrap these gifts for these weddings. I love Pinterest for its creativeness and inspiration. I was working with one of the brides this last weekend on her dessert table, trying to explain something not very well I am afraid, opened up Pinterest and found exactly what I was trying to describe. She immediately got it and loved it!! So if you are headed to a bunch of weddings like me, here are some gorgeous ideas on how to wrap those gifts!
