Oh I am so thankful that we were able to go on such a wonderful vacation with all our friends and their families. There is no better reason to take a vacation than some of your best friends getting married!!
{and you would think Lauren could smile for 1 picture without sticking her tongue out or frowning!!}
I am going to wait to show you the dessert table at the wedding (hoping to snag some pics from the photographer!). My pictures did not do it justice. But here is a sneak peak at the gorgeous flowers.
My little sunshine had so much fun painting water on this lava rock by the pool (actually did it for hours!) and gave me some time to enjoy relaxing by the pool. Since so many of our friends were around with the kids, I actually had eyes on deck while I got to shut mine!! If you are a mom you know that is such a luxury!!
We were able to enjoy gorgeous beaches.
Yummy food and drinks I had not had before (maybe some posts on these concoctions coming up because you HAVE to taste them!).
We even took Lauren swimming with the dolphins. Though she thought they were sharks and refused to put her legs in the water when she got a (open shot) look of the momma’s mouth. Yes a momma and her 10 month old baby! So cute!!
And finally one of THE most beautiful locations for a wedding to date I have gone to. This is the Four Seasons right outside of Kona. If we had stayed there I never would have left. It is set up like bungalows and has a Frank Loyd Wright look. Now if you are from Pasadena or Chicago then you know who that architect is. He is one of Brad Pitt’s favorites; known for clean lines, symettry, and embodies the craftsman style. And yes even that style works at the beach. LOVED it!!
Here is a picture of the happy couple and more on this wedding to follow on the design because I am not going to let you miss it!
