Back To School Personalized!

On Monday I shared our new Back To School collection that is not only chalk full of party decorations but also lots of labels for you to personalize your child’s school supplies.

I think school lunches HAVE to be made fun and bag stickers and juice wraps are a cute addition.

My little one loves to draw so I am sending her to school well equipped to bring home her special art work!

A pack of pencils wrapped up like a present with a cute tag, are special just for them!

A composition book will never be lost and keep work all organized to bring home.

My little one is really into measuring things lately and see how big everything is. Ruler tags are great so these necessary tools are not misplaced.

So now Lauren is all set for school!

Our Back To School Labels and Party Collection is in the shop and ready to get your kids personalized for the school year!

Personalize Your Back To School With A Party!

It is almost time! Or maybe your little one’s have just started? This year I wanted to focus on the personalizing of Lauren’s back to school items since they like everything to have the kid’s names on them. I like this idea because children can learn to recognize their names, at least little ones the age of my daughter, and older ones can have fun unique labels for their school items. But first I want to share a cute little after school snack area to celebrate the kids going back to school!

Though kids snacks after school need to be on the healthy side for sure, the first day of school can be about a little celebration.

First I baked some yummy sweets. I have been on a caramel kick lately and baked chocolate caramel cupcakes, caramel oatmeal raisin cookies and caramel dipped apples.

Party Circles are a great printable to not only use for cupcake toppers but to add as embellishment to other things. These were attached using glue dots to the front of my cupcake wrappers and then onto lollipop sticks and tucked into the cookies.

Basic wax paper is cut in strips and wrapped around the cookies using colored twine. Easy for little fingers to hold on to.

I also offered a selection on drinks. “Smart” water and “Smart juice along with mason jars filled with milk are all personalized to give them that special touch.

Smart drinks definitely need some Smart food! Packaged inside are sandwiches, apple slices and a snack bag of gold fish. Yum!

Lauren was excited to have her own lunch bag with a fun sticker on it.

Next I will be sharing some fun ways to personalize your kids things they take to school with them. We love making our kids SMART cookies!

Our Back To School Collection is available in the shop!

{Sneak Peak} Back To School Is Almost Here!

Yesterday we finally shot our Back To School collection and I am so excited to share next week. This collection is more about personalized labels than a dessert spread, though of course I could not resist a few sweet treats! So here is a peek to tie you over for just a little while longer!

1st Day Of School

Yes that is what today is. It was easier for me to send her off since she had done a quick summer school session to get her ready for the year but none the less a little hard. I can not believe she is in school 5 mornings a week! You may see some crazy  amount of blogging posts and DIY projects now!! Here are some of my favorite pictures of Lauren today as we headed out the door.

I made this quick sign  for her to hold and think it is a cute idea to do every year. I had done something like this for each week of her first year (yes and it was A LOT of work to keep it up). But I have been seeing some versions of these 1st day of school signs and love the idea and tradition!

I also just heard that there are moms who have a party on the first day of their kids school year for getting together to be sad or rejoice that they are back in school. I kind of like that idea. Any of you do that with your friends?
