Hello again, A Blissful Nest readers – Holly here from Paisley Petal Events! I took a little break from posting here to catch up with life after having 3 client parties 3 weeks in a row – it was busy! So for today’s featured party, I thought I’d share one of those parties with you – a 50th Wedding Anniversary party. I absolutely loved pulling this one together, especially because I’m totally into gold right now!
At the center of the small dessert table was the simple but beautiful cake with gold ribbon and a fondant bow on top.
Cake pops were a specific request from my client and they were absolutely perfect with the gold bows and white swirls.
Decorations for the party included 5 dozen gold, silver and white balloons floating on the ceiling, and a gold glitter ‘Happy 50th Anniversary’ banner which hung above the cake table.
For centerpieces on the seating tables, I spray painted glass bottles with gold paint and added simple white roses, baby’s breath and some small twigs.
Other bottles were filled with picks I made with my Silhouette machine using scrapbook paper. They included the couple’s names and wedding year and were embellished with some gold tulle and ribbon.
Favors included a bag of various gold chocolates and were tied with a simple Thank You tag.
Hopefully you can use some of these ideas if you have an upcoming anniversary party to plan! Thanks for letting me share!

Holly, this is stunning! Love this. The gold jars and vases are my favorite!
