{DIY Tutorial} Valentine’s Day Treat Bags

Hello Everyone!  Mariah from Giggles Galore here to share an easy DIY Valentine’s Day treat bag for the little sweeties in your life.  This project is easy to make and can be customized with your color combination and sweets to add a little extra pizzazz to your holiday treats.  Let’s get started…

Supplies:

  • Small clear cellophane bags
  • Variety of pattered and solid scrapbook paper
  • Embellishments (ribbon, twine, washi tape, hearts, ect.)
  • Staples and glue dots
  • Special Valentine’s Day treat

First make your special treat (I made rice krispie treats) and cut them out using a heart shaped cookie cutter

Cut a 3 1/2 x 5 piece of scrapbook paper

Next, cut the topper for you bag to 3 x3.75.  Embellish your bag topper with ribbon, twine, washi tape and hearts.

Slide your patterned paper into the bag and put your special Valentine’s Day treat inside the bag.  Now, staple the bag topper to the clear cellophane bag.

*Note: I only stapled the back part of the topper to the bag because I didn’t want the staples to show through on the front and mess up my pretty toppers.  After I stapled the back I folded over the front of the topper and used glue dots to secure it.

Spread the love and hand out pretty little Valentine’s Day treats bags to co-workers, friends and neighbors or slip them in your kids lunch for an extra special surprise!
