{DIY Tutorial} Sand Dollar Garland

Hello, A Blissful Nest readers!
It’s Linda here, from burlap+blue, and I’m here today to share an easy and fun tutorial that will add a dose of Summer to your home decor!

Materials:
Sand Dollars (use this ebay search to find them inexpensively)
Twine (I used jute twine, but baker’s twine would do)

Step 1: Take your first sand dollar, and thread your twine through the center hole. Tie an overhand knot with your twine, so the sand dollar is secure. Continue threading your twine and tying knots until all your sand dollars are secure (I used 5 sand dollars, but use as many as you’d like).

Step 2: After your knots are tied, gently push your knots behind each sand dollar so they aren’t visible.

Step 3: Knot each end of your garland, and you’re done!

I love how this turned out! I can think of so many places to hang one of these cuties…mantels, windows, empty frames…you can even wrap it around a gift for a fun and summery touch!
